Recent months have seen the commissioning of a complete crushing and screening plant at MW Johnston & Son, Leverlogue Road, Lisburn.
The three stage installation facilated the customer in that, PM Engineering were able to design, install and commission the primary crushing end in a new location, while the customer was able to keep the existing plant running. This enabled the new Metso primary crusher and screener to be brought into operation, supplying to stockpile and returned to the existing screening plant.
Intermediate stage involved further crushing and screening, using new Metso supplied cone crusher and screen. Storage facility in the shape of three 100 ton bins, were designed to give the customer ability to draw out or recycle back into the crusher.
Tertiary stage involved final crushing and screening into seven 100 ton bins with facility to draw out from pneumatic outlet and recycle back to the tertiary crusher. Capacity has also been left to add future stockpile conveyors to increase capacity.
We are pleased to have worked with MW Johnston and have provided another satisfied customer with a rock solid, crushing and screening facility for many years to come.
